Hi!  My name is Chris, and this is my personal site.

…But I guess you already knew that.

To my mom I’m know as Christopher Daniel de Jong, and I am a twenty-something  marketer based out of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Originally from the frozen tundra of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, I escaped just shy of my 18th birthday and came to “the big city” for school – which I found in the form of a commerce degree of the University of Saskatchewan.

I have somewhat of a obsession with all areas of technology, culture, and social media, and because of this I possess quite a disproportionate amount of random knowledge pertaining to things most normal people find mundane and tedious.   Some of which will from time to time leak out in the form of blog posts on this very site.

In my spare time I love running, road trips, reading anything I can get my hands on, and dabbling in what my primary school teachers would dub “creative writing”.  You can also find some of my extracurricular works under the Portfolio section – this contains a sampling of some things I’ve worked on outside of work in a variety of a mediums.

I also have a mild case of musical OCD which means I constantly am looking for new sounds to fill my ears with.  From time to time I post the gems I find on my Mixtape for your listening pleasure.  If you hear something you like, make sure to get out there and support the artist!
